What's Happening at the East Falls Farmers' Market Well, it's December already and there's no time like this weekend to get a jump on your holiday shopping! The Farmers Market is on winter hours starting this week - which means we're open Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Pasta is always a guest pleaser and the handmade pasta and provisions from Sorrentino Pasta + Provisions never miss! This week, we'll have HOT empanadas and HOT drinking chocolate from Sazon2Go. We'll have cakes and cookies from The Fancy Crumb. Grab a Hot cup of Glögg from Rowhouse Spirits to keep you warm while you shop. New Vendor Highlights: We have two new vendors with us this Saturday! Nicky Campbell Hyman - Nicky Campbell Hyman is a self-taught fine artist and surface designer. An East Falls local, Nicky’s colourful and dynamic work extends across a range of media, including acrylics, pen and ink, block printing, and multimedia design. Sola by Isa - Sola by Isa makes sustainable, minimalist essentials, such as handmade natural soaps, scrubs, body butter, and salves. Farmer updates: Betty's Acres says "Why not prepare the tastiest and most delicious Christmas treat for your holiday parties this year? Betty's Acres Chevre in one of our many flavours on your vegetables or crackers or Betty's Acres goat milk fudge". McCann’s will have a variety of apples, Sweet potatoes, cabbage, butternut squash, broccoli, cauliflower, spaghetti squash, spinach and more. Everwild Farm will have their mesclun mix, arugula, spinach, a wide variety of microgreens and shoots, rainbow chard, kale, bok choy, radicchio, cherry radishes, sweet hakurei turnips, kohlrabi, and carrots. And, we'll have music performed by Clay Jackson! Come join us at the market under the Twin Bridges from 11 am to 1 pm, rain or shine!
