What's Happening at the East Falls Farmers' Market New at the Market: Drexel Biomedical student are back with their super fun and interactive program, Science For All Ages! Stop by their table to see what they are working on this week- BIG Bill Nye vibes. Did you know that Brophy's sells ice cream? Get your quarts and ice cream sandwiches this weekend! Farmer updates: Brophy's Spring Hollow Farms offers ethically raised beef steaks, pork cuts, lamb, sausages, bacon, scrapple, eggs and more! They also are now offering ICE CREAM quarts and sandwiches!! Everwild Farm is bringing you: Mesclun mix, a wide variety of microgreens and shoots, herbs, eggs, curly kale, rainbow Swiss chard, kohlrabi, beets, zucchini, fennel, garlic, carrots, Shishito peppers, eggplant & cherry tomatoes! (Pssst- They also have beautiful flowers, but they fly so come early.) If you’d like to preorder you can do so before 3pm on Friday using the link to their website: https://everwildfarm.com/pre-order/ Lynda's Ladies Apiary are beekeepers! Chat with them to learn more about bees, the beekeeping process and the benefits of PA honey! McCann's will feature bedding plants, fresh herbs, squash, zucchini, romaine, spinach, mushrooms, peaches, tomatoes, corn, berries and many other local and seasonal offerings.
