What's Happening at the East Falls Farmers' Market Here at the EFFM, you can bring your whole family (including your four-legged family members), meet up with your friends and enjoy a river view! Grab your weekend essentials in one, fun place- Beers, cakes, pet treats, handmade gifts, seasonal produce, ethically raised meats, handmade pastas, honey, ice cream, prepared foods, flowers and more! Who says food shopping isn't fun?! NEW this week at the EFFM: A cooking demonstration! Enjoy a live demonstration (with samples, obviously) and learn how to turn your farm fresh ingredients into Elote (Mexican Street Corn)! Thank you Chris and Caroline! Farmer updates: Brophy's Spring Hollow Farms offers ethically raised beef steaks, pork cuts, lamb, sausages, bacon, scrapple, eggs and more! They also are now offering ICE CREAM!! Everwild Farm is bringing you: Mesclun mix, a wide variety of microgreens and shoots, herbs, eggs, curly kale, rainbow Swiss chard, kohlrabi, beets, zucchini, fennel, garlic, carrots, Shishito peppers, eggplant & cherry tomatoes! (Pssst- They also have beautiful flowers, but they fly so come early.) Chat with them to learn more about bees, the beekeeping process and the benefits of PA honey!
