What's Happening at the East Falls Farmers' Market We've got a full market for you this week, with everything from PA honey, mead and spices to handmade pottery, candles, kitchen linens and science crafts!! And as always, fresh, seasonal produce, ethically raised meats and hand made pastas! NEW this week at the EFFM: Our special guests, the Biomedical Graduate Students for Diversity from Drexel University College of Medicine will be sharing science a bunch of fun and interactive science activities for all ages. Come learn about how the brain works while making models of brain regions and the cells that form them using pipe cleaners and beads to make yours as unique as you are! Welcome! Farmer updates: Brophy's Spring Hollow Farms will also be at the market with ethically raised beef, pork, lamb, eggs and more! Everwild Farm This week, Everwild will continue to provide all your organically grown necessities: Mesclun mix, arugula, a wide variety of microgreens and shoots, herbs, eggs, curly kale, rainbow Swiss chard, kohlrabi, beets, zucchini, fennel, garlic and carrots! The East Falls Development Corporation has teamed up with the Clean Air Council for a Walking Tour! This tour was rescheduled from a few weeks back. The new date is July 20th at 5:30p at the parking lot (4100 Ridge Ave). Apparently, the tour ends with a brew ;) The EFFM is partnering with The East Falls Development Corporation, Indigo Bike Share and The Bicycle Coalition for a super fun bike ride on July 29th!
